Our Story

It all started 26 years ago when my husband and I opened Athenian Grill with a focus on delicious food and a family oriented business.

We wanted to create a space that could both serve American classics and traditional Greek recipes. It’s traditional in Greek culture to pass down family legacy through timeless recipes that emphasize gourmet cuisine and family. To this day, we serve recipes that have been preserved and passed down from generation to generation.

In 2019, we experienced tragedy after a fire in the grill. What we thought could be the end of Athenian Grill was actually a period of refining physically in the restaurant and spiritually in all of us. What we found is the fire was an opportunity to reflect on what the Grill had been and reimagine what it could be.

We focused on shifting from a fast food style to an upscale casual dining experience. We reimagined what enjoying lunch and dinner at Athenian Grill would look like with  renovations, new vision and a loving staff we reopened in 2021 with our new tag line Come to the Table.

Come to the Table means Athenian Grill is a place where all are invited and welcomed. We focus on the values of Excellence, Kindness, Joy, Love and Peace. Excellence is experienced in every dish from the moment it’s ordered until it’s finished. Our chef has been with us for the  last 20 years and consistently pours her love and experience into each dish.

As soon as you walk into the restaurant you will feel the love and peace radiating from all of our staff. Each server is trained to lean into each table with kindness and joy as they serve our guests. Our hope is that you would leave your meal feeling refreshed and rejuvenated by our food and service. We hope that your time with us would fill you up so that you can bring those same values into the world around you.
